A lovely day on Friday speaking at and exploring @ A lovely day on Friday speaking at and exploring @gonewildfestivaldevon 🎪🏕️🥾🎤

Really fab to chat to families about why getting a bit more of the outdoors into our everyday can be so good for us, as well as the stories of the 55+ brilliant people I’ve had the chance to speak to all around the UK over the years for The Outdoors Fix podcast and book.

Plus reminiscing about the Te Araroa trial in New Zealand and how it all started!🇳🇿

Catching up with Harrison @fellfoodie , music on the main stage from @germeinsisters and a MASSIVE Greek halloumi gyros sealed a brilliant experience and day 🥙

Thanks so much to Aloma @exeeventsuk and @gonewildfestivaldevon for having me. Still pinching myself that I get to do these things sometimes xx

10-mile walk along the South West Coast Path from 10-mile walk along the South West Coast Path from Thurlstone to Salcombe 💚
A stunning part of the coastal path, even in the February weather!
I love my daily short walks, but I’ve neglected long walks recently and realised that I desperately wanted them back in my routine. That feeling after hours outdoors, not thinking about a whole lot, just looking at what’s around you, the different birds, the sound of the waves… not many things make me happier.
So I’m determined to not let long walks slide again, and l’ve ring-fenced a good few in the diary!🥾🥾🥾
So weird that I seem to keep forgetting to prioritise walks like this one, and then when I’m out there, I’m like, ‘Of course!’
Anyone else know the feeling?
That feeling after a long walk with friends 🥰💚

A lovely 8-mile loop from Newlands Corner in Surrey and along the North Downs Way. We saw deer and the ☀️shone! Nothing better to get refreshed for the new week🥾

Hope you were able to get out in the sunshine this weekend too 🌳 x

Still on an adrenaline high from last night! I a Still on an adrenaline high from last night!

I absolutely LOVED interviewing Christian Lewis at the Cheltenham Literature Festival yesterday about his incredible 6-year, 19,000-mile walk around the UK’s coastline 🥾🤯, and his book about it, Finding Hildasay📖

I was pretty daunted as it was the biggest event I’ve ever done, but Chris was such a lovely guy, a fantastic interviewee and the audience were so supportive. Plus Jet, his dog, got to sit with us on stage, and Chris’ fiancée, @kateebarron and their son, Magnus, were there too!

If you haven’t followed Chris’ adventures through his Chris Walks the UK Facebook page, or read his book, I’d thoroughly recommend it - it’s an absolute beacon of hope, community, positivity and joy 💚

Did you follow Chris Lewis’ 19,000-mile walk aro Did you follow Chris Lewis’ 19,000-mile walk around the UK’s coastline over the past few years? Or have you read his book, Finding Hildasay?🥾📖

Chris’ journey with his dog, Jet, and later with his partner, Kate, and baby son, Magnus, captured the attention of thousands of us with its positive, hopeful and inspirational message. His book is a complete page-turner too.

I’m so excited for next Thursday because I’m going to be interviewing Chris at The Times and Sunday Times Cheltenham Literary Festival - a real privilege 🤩

I’ve got so many questions to ask him, I’ve no idea how we’ll fit it into an hour…

There are still a few tickets left, so if you’d like to join us, you can get them on the link below or in my bio. Hope to see you there!

And if you have any questions you’d like me to ask Chris, let me know 💭
