Having a young family certainly hasn’t stopped Stacey and Keith Wilcox exploring and having big adventures in the outdoors.

They now take their sons, seven-year-old Finn and one-year-old Cullen, hiking, canoeing and wild camping all around Scotland and have also just come back from an epic eight week adventure in New Zealand as part of their shared parental leave!

Having a young family certainly hasn’t stopped Stacey and Keith Wilcox exploring and having big adventures in the outdoors.

They now take their sons, seven-year-old Finn and one-year-old Cullen, hiking, canoeing and wild camping all around Scotland and have also just come back from an epic eight week adventure in New Zealand as part of their shared parental leave!

They are known as @anoutdoorsfamily on Instagram and also blog about their adventures at An Outdoors Family.

I went to visit them in their home in Dundee, Scotland, to hear how they manage to have such an adventurous family life (often on little sleep) and what advice they have for other families keen to get outdoors more.

I spoke to them all together, so as you can imagine, this episode is pretty lively!
