She created a Facebook walking group, Iona’s Adventures, in 2018 and it’s already grown to over 2,000 members!
Calling herself an “ordinary adventurer”, Iona is determined to spread her “sunshiney happiness” (as she calls it) throughout the outdoors community.

I went to visit Iona in Scotland and we went for a walk in the Pentland Hills near Edinburgh.
I wanted to find out why she started hiking, why she set up her walking group, how its impacted her life and why she thinks she’s been able to motivate so many others to get outdoors!
